A Credit Union
is a not-for-profit cooperative financial institution owned by its
members. Credit unions were formed to allow their members to pool
their savings, lend to each other, and own the organization. Ownership
is represented by shares, the term used to describe funds deposited
to an individual's account.

Membership
in credit unions are offered to specifically designed groups, such
as employees of a company, a community (geographic area) or people
who share the same profession. You are eligible for UFCU membership
if you are employed by Unilever United States (UNUS) including any
directly or indirectly wholly-owned subsidiaries; and you work at
or are paid from Englewood Cliffs, NJ. So, you can become a member
whether you work at the corporate offices, regional offices or manufacturing
locations.

Becoming a
member is simple. You can become a member by completing a membership
application and making a $5.00 share purchase. Contact the Credit
union office at 800-975-3328 if you have questions about our membership
policy, joining the Credit Union or about the services we offer.

account is the ideal time to open accounts for your family members.

UFCU operates
under federal regulations administered by the National Credit Union
Administration (NCUA) an agency of the U.S. Government. Our records
are examined periodically by the NCUA and accounts audited regularly
by a certified public accounting firm as directed by UFCU's Supervisory
Committee. Your savings are federally insured up to $100,000 per
account. Be sure to get a brochure that shows how you can structure
your account to increase amounts insured.
